Rebel comes through again. Fabulous bacon!

I got hooked on Rebel Pastures eggs at the Rockford Farmers market two Summers ago when we moved to Rockford from CA.Since then they are the only eggs I'll buy. Always, fresh, large, and the best tasting eggs you'll ever have. It's important to me to support local farmers, especially those that farm is a way that provides the farm animals a good life.

I'm going to start buying all my meat/protein from they as well, my sister told me the chicken is especially good.

They are super easy to order from online and pick up in person or if you live further away they will ship them to you!

De-bone and trim a Rebel pastures chicken thigh, stuff too much chorizo sausage and wrap it in bacon. Smoke it at 180 for 45min on a wire rack skin sine up, remove and turn up the heat to 375 cook until the internal temperature is 165. Remove from heat and let set for 10min, hide in the garage until you’ve eaten your fill, then share what’s left with the family.

Love the chicken we get from Rebel. So much “cleaner” tasting than the supermarket meats.

So far, I have only cooked these one at a time for a nice lunch. Easy to break off one frozen, defrost and then pan fry. The flavor is amazing - the cheese melts all nice and gooey. I will definitely be buying again!

I bought this for my husband because he always loves to get jerky when we go up north. This was his first time having some from Rebel Pastures and he gave it two thumbs up! He said it had a nice kick to it and he'd definitely get it again! Great to take on the road, on a hike, or just enjoy as a tasty snack.
