Grass Fed Beef Suet

I have tried 4 or 5 farms for Beef Suet. Rebel Pastures has been the best so far. I only had to do 2 renderings. 1 wet and 1 dry.

After learning of the many benefits of tallow both by eating or skin care, I wanted to buy it in a large enough quantity to cook with it as well as make a lotion or crème. Of course being pastured raised was a must. I didn’t find a good source for finished tallow so I ordered suet. After receiving my order from Rebel Pastures I spent a day rendering it into a decent amount of tallow. I saved two jars to cook with and made dozens of small jelly jars of homemade whipped body butter. Tallow, coconut oil, honey, frankincense and almond extract for scent. Using a hand mixer I whipped it up and yum, I was done! It looked so good I just had to taste it, and dang it was actually tasty, ha ha. Best of all it’s perfect on my skin and lasts all day.

I ordered several pounds of Suet. It was conveniently packaged in several smaller portions and very clean and easy to use. I will order here from now on! I feel so good about the quality of the product and the care Rebel Pastures puts into their practices.

I make Beef Tallow and this Suet rendered up perfectly! It’s trimmed extremely well which makes the job easier. I can make my own grass fed beef tallow for one third the cost of store bought and I know where it comes from and how it’s raised.
