Grass Fed Pork Leaf Fat

I'm going to be making tortillas and was very fortunate to have found that Rebel Pastures had the Pork Leaf Fat! It's most definitely a very special find, and I'm thrilled to be able to render it on my own. I'm lucky enough that I live only 45 minutes from this wonderful place, I highly recommend anything from their shop.

My husband and I started the carnivore woe Jan. of 24. I decided to look for local farms and the first one to come up was Rebel Pastures. They have pork leaf fat. Jules was so patient and helpful and we are getting monthly delivery of this clean, delicious fat :) Couldn’t be happier with this company/farm. And the customer service is on point!

Bought a couple packages and placed in our crockpot on low temp for about 6 hours to render down. We then removed the rendered pieces and poured into mason jars through a cloth to catch any remaining pieces. This is my go to that has replaced cooking with oils and Pam spray. Love this!!

I purchased four slabs of pork leaf that last week and made six jars of rendered lard. I am delighted to have finally found Rebel Pastures as a reliable resource for healthy eating alternatives … and only a few miles away!
