At Rebel Pastures, we’re not just raising animals; we’re raising the bar. Our mission to revolutionize the food system is powered by a coalition of fearless farmers who share our defiance against industrialized agriculture.

Each partner in our network embodies the spirit of rebellion—rejecting confinement and embracing regenerative, pasture-based practices.

Our Farm Partners

Hehlden Farms – Pasture Raised Eggs

The Hehls have been with us since the beginning as friends and mentors. This multi-generational family farm, led by Matt, Amy, and Christina, shifted from conventional to regenerative farming with pure grit and determination. We’ve learned so much from them at APPPA Conferences, and they continue to blow us away with their passion for hosting events and pushing for better farming practices.

Their dedication to providing honest, local food and supporting sustainable agriculture perfectly aligns with Rebel’s mission.

Flying W Ranch - Pasture Raised Pork

Flying W Ranch, run by Rick and Carey Wagon was our first introduction to pasture-raised livestock. Over the years, they’ve become masters of farrowing (birthing pigs), a skill that takes grit, patience, and persistence. Their dedication produces some of the most mind-blowing Berkshire pork you’ll ever taste. They’ve set the standard for what it means to raise hogs ethically and sustainably, inspiring us to constantly improve our own practices.

Joe’s Farm – Pasture Raised Chicken

Joe’s Farm is a key partner in the Rebel Pastures mission to deliver badass pastured proteins done the right way. Joe’s expertise in pastured poultry and his relentless drive for quality make him an invaluable part of our network. As an APPPA board member and one of the youngest, most innovative farmers out there, he brings a fresh perspective and an unwavering commitment to regenerative farming.

Joe’s ability to consistently produce top-notch birds with a small, efficient team aligns perfectly with Rebel’s standards. Together, we’re redefining what it means to raise poultry ethically, sustainably, and transparently, delivering clean, honest food that you can trust.

Apsey Farms – Grassfed & Finished Beef

The Apsey family is proof that innovation and tradition can coexist. When Kyle convinced his dad to ditch the barn-fed model to finishing cattle on grass, it transformed their farm. They now work hand in hand to raise some of the best grassfed beef out their. In fact, their beef speaks for itself, and Kyle’s advocacy for a healthier food system—yes, even in D.C.—is changing the game for small farmers.

Net To Table - Wild Alaskan Seafood

We first met Net to Table at a farmers market in our hometown of Rockford, and it didn’t take long to realize how aligned we were. Luke and Eliza, former public school teachers turned Bristol Bay salmon fishermen, split their time between Michigan and Alaska, heading back every year to fish the pristine waters they call home.

Net to Table is on a mission to combat the damage caused by industrial fishing operations that ravage marine ecosystems. Unlike factory trawlers that destroy habitats and waste millions of pounds of non-target species, they focus on sustainable practices like set gillnets and longlining. By catching their own wild salmon and partnering with small-boat fishermen, they protect the ocean while delivering seafood that’s as ethical as it is delicious.
