3 Tips for Dying Brown Eggs for Easter
If you haven't tried to dye brown eggs, you are missing out!
The brown tint of the egg works to intensify the color of the dye leaving them the beautiful jewel colors you see above!
Egg Dying Tips:
👉Use washed eggs - Our unwashed eggs have a healthy bloom on them that coats the egg, but will peel off when dyed.
👉Leave in the dye longer for darker colors - some colors require a longer soak time to get a deeper color.
👉To avoid cracking, be gentle when boiling
- Add eggs in pot and cover with water.
- GRADUALLY bring the water to a boil.
- When they reach boiling, remove from heat and cover with lid.
- Let it them sit in water for 10 minutes.
- Drain and run under cold water to stop cooking.
