Pastured Chicken Hearts

I just cooked a large package of your chicken hearts in a big soup pot, with loads of veggies and herbs and spices and barley--and it was one of the best meals I've ever made! The hearts were tender and full-flavored, substantial but never tough. (And the soup had virtually no fat.) I plan to make it often this winter--thanks to Rebel Pastures.

I’ve eaten hearts from deer, moose, upland birds, and bear-but never chicken. Simply sautéed and they made for an awesome lunch. Looking forward to trying some on the grill when the weather improves!!

I was very surprised at how large, tender and flavorful these chicken hearts were. By far the best I have eaten since childhood when I lived on a farm and we pasture-raised all of our animals.
